Will compression make my file look worse?+
Text and vector graphics stay sharp. Photos are resampled for their use — screen or print — and we'll show you a sample before processing a whole batch.
Why can't I do this with a free online tool?+
For a single quick merge, you often can. We're useful when there are many files, fillable fields to preserve, naming rules to follow, or documents you'd rather not upload to an unknown site.
Do fillable fields survive merging?+
Yes. Fields with the same name in different files would otherwise share answers, so we rename them to keep each one independent.
Can you split by a value on the page?+
Often, yes — for example one file per invoice number or employee ID, when that value is readable text on the page.
